Summer
2001
Dear Brothers
and Sisters in Christ,
If I wasn't convinced before of God's
calling on my life "to restore the nations unto Him through
worship and dance," I am now. Stepping fully by faith into
the work God's put before me, I am now committing 100 percent
of my attention to this ministry. This puts me in a position to
ask for and depend on the tithes and gifts of God's people. I'd
like to share what God's been doing in this ministry and ask you
to prayerfully consider sponsoring me financially with your support.
Many of you
know of the ministry the Lord has called me to. His ways are confounding!
Especially when I look back on my Life and see how His hands were
at work shaping my experiences and skills to prepare me for times
such as these.
I have been
living in Juarez, Mexico since November 2000 working with Emmanuel
Church and Children's Home building a ministry of worship, dance
and the arts. Que Su Pueblo Dance! (Let His People Dance!) was
born. It's a team of women and men, teens and children that is
renewing hearts through praise and worship. It is my heart that
a unified team be raised at the church and other churches in Juarez
to minister life to the city and a country that is hungry for
experiencing God in real worship.
Working in
cooperation with Emmanuel Ministries and skillful artists the
Lord has brought to Emmanuel, I have started multi-church classes
on dance for Juarez young people. We will be facilitating open
worship evenings (once a week) for students and youth that come
as part of volunteer teams to the Home during the summer. And
we will be opening an art school In the fall. I do believe God's
plan is to establish a worship and arts training center at Emmanuel
where artists from all over the world may come to be renewed and
released in their God-given creative giftings.
