22% comes from churches. This is made up of churches who have committed a monthly amount of support, usually from their missions or benevolence budget.

7% comes from charitable organizations. There are several para-church organizations who contribute to us on a monthly or quarterly basis.

28% of our operating budget is met each year by special donations. These are contributions from individuals and organizations that we did not count on as they were additional, one time donations! We thank the Lord for these contributions but we would like to rely less on contributions from this category as the percentages in the other categories increase. This will allow us to better manage our money because we have a large percent of our operating budget in committed funds.

43% comes from our monthly sponsors and donors. This group is made up of individuals who faithfully send between $15 and $100 each month. $15 per month may not seem like a lot but the combined giving makes a BIG difference. People often ask how they can get involved. To follow are some ideas.

Sponsor a Child -
The cost of supporting one child at Emmanuel Children's Home for one month is approximately $120. This covers food, lodging, hygiene products, clothing, school tuition, etc. We realize that $120 is more than the average person can contribute per month so our sponsor program has a suggested monthly donation of $30 per month. Ideally, we would like to have 4 sponsors per child. This would not only help to meet the financial needs of each child but would ensure that each child has 4 individuals or families who are actively involved in the child's life. This means they are being prayed for on a regular basis and remembered throughout the year, especially at Christmas and birthday time.

Be a Monthly Donor -
Some people would rather help with our general fund than sponsor an individual child. Perhaps they already have children they care for through other organizations or do not have the time or inclination to shop for Christmas or birthday gifts. These people choose to be monthly donors, giving an amount of their choice. These amounts currently range from $15 to $300 per month but we have no required amounts. Money that comes in from monthly donors helps pay our employees, our utilities, and other very important facility needs.

Sponsor a Ministry -
Within Emmanuel Ministries we have several programs that have their own operating budgets. If you are interested in supporting any of these programs monthly or with a one time donation, please let us know by making a note on your contribution:

Emmanuel Christian School - is our day school. We currently have pre-kindergarten through 1st grade. We plan to add at least one grade per year until we have a complete elementary school. We need funds for teacher salaries, curriculum, school supplies, etc.

Emmanuel School of Ballet - is our school of Classical Ballet. All of the girls at Emmanuel Children's Home participate in this program. We need funds for teacher salaries, ballet leotards, slippers, and tights, costumes and scenery, and travel funds.

Art Program - All of the school aged children at Emmanuel Children's Home have an opportunity to take art class once a week. We need funds for teacher salaries and art supplies.

Que Su Pueblo Dance! - is our worship dance ministry. The group is made up of preteens through adults from Emmanuel Ministries. They lead worship in our church and bring the gift of worship dance to churches and special events throughout Juarez, other cities in Mexico and the U.S. We need funds for dance costumes, articles of worship (like tambourines, flags, candles, banners, etc.) and travel funds.

Emmanuel Clinic - is the clinic and surgery center that serves the children and staff of Emmanuel Ministries. It also provides services in the community. Since the majority of the patients seen at the clinic are the children, the clinic is supported by contributions as well as the payments made by private patients. We need funds for staff salaries, medicines, equipment, and utilities.

Missions and Outreach - is our ministry to Juarez and the South of Mexico. This ministry includes micro enterprises, charity building, and pastoral care. Micro enterprises in La Victoria and in Juarez are funded with seed money and counsel so that each enterprise becomes self-supporting in a short period of time. There is often need in churches and individuals for building projects such as roof replacement or room additions. We occasionally build a whole structure. Pastoral care and support is provided by Pastor Josue Lopez in Juarez and in the South. We need funds for new micro enterprises, for building supplies and for travel.

Come to Visit - We welcome visitors most any time. Our summers are pretty full with groups from around the U.S. but there are openings during the rest of the year. We have visitor housing with a kitchen but we also love to cook for our guests.
