ANNUAL REPORT 2004-2005
By Drs. Armando Uribe and Keren Lopez
Dear brethren at Children Hunger Relief
Fund and Giving Hands we are thankful to the Lord for making us
part of this ministry to serve the Kingdom of God with
our gifts and abilities.
We are happy because after a year
of being away, in which we did our social service to our country,
we can come back to be part of this great ministry. We are thankful
to the Lord because during our year away, we had the opportunity
to know another part of the body of Christ who opened their arms
and received us with much love and care.
2004
We want to profoundly thank Mr. and Mrs. Byron Miller for their
support of $1800.00 dollars to help with our needs during six
months of our stay in the mountains of Chihuahua. We thank our
family for all their support during our time when
we were far away; we thank you for each one of your prayers, for
without them we would have not made it. We specially want to thank
Mrs. Soledad Lopez, Joel and Betel Barraza, and Avina Family again,
for all their support during our time away. God bless you and
grant you the desires of your hearts.
We had the opportunity to come to
Juarez in several visits during this past year and during that
time we were able to serve with dental attention to some families
from Sojourn Church (O'Rand Family) and from Lighthouse (Davis
Family, Wright Family and Mr. Paul Johnson). Caring for these
patients gave us a profit of $1700.00 dlls.
January 2005
We had the opportunity to go on a Medical Missionary Trip to la
Victoria Coahuila to help Dr. Jeff Bean inaugurate the Dental
Department of the Clinic in La Victoria. We were able to see and
care for more than 70 people. We received a gift of $200.00 dollars
in appreciation for our time during this trip, for which we are
very thankful.
April 2005
We also had the blessing to give our services to the Tarahumara
Indian community. We shared the gospel, fellowshipped with their
families and gave them dental care. We were able to do this together
with the families of the church we attended in Anahuac during
our Social Service year there.
May 2005
During this month we were able to give dental care to the majority
of the children of the Home. We want to thank Dr. Jeff Bean for
allowing us to help him once again and share with us his experience.
May-June 2005
We are thankful to Giving Hands for the donation of $3000.00 dollars
for the purchase of 2 intra-oral cameras and a portable computer
giving us the opportunity to offer a better and more qualified
service.
WORK PLAN FOR 2005-06
Give monthly workshops about prevention
and dental health to dorm mothers, children of the home and community.
Restore in totality the health in
the mouth of every child in the Home.
Visit La Victoria Coahuila once or
twice a year for all the dental attention.
Make a visit to the Sierra of Chihuahua
to see the Tarahumara community.
Establish ourselves as good Christian
Dentists with an honest and ethical business approach that gives
service that brings honor to God's kingdom and provision not only
for us but to all who are in need around us where God guides us
to help.
We
have begun our practice here at Emmanuel Dental Clinic where our
commitment is to give 10% of all our profits as tithe to the Children's
Home separate from our personal tithing to our local Church.
We plan to also start a separate account
where 20% of our profit will be deposited for needs, emergencies
or projects that will go directly for the dental clinic.
We ask your prayers as we embark on
God's calling in our life.
We thank you and appreciate your help
as we establish ourselves to begin our business practice.
