Note From Ashley Holter,
Director of Isaac Newton Academy, Emmanuel Ministries
We are in the middle of organizing our school
staff for next year. We are praying and believing that God will send
just the right people here to be a part of this ministry and fill the
need that we have. We are seeking His will and are praying for you as
you seek Him as to what your part may be! This year we have added two
classrooms and an office. We currently have preschool through second
grade.
Just yesterday construction began on the four new classrooms we are
adding for next year. We are planning to add a third grade in the same
style as our first and second (meaning that we will have one American
and one Mexican teacher in the classroom co-teaching, with lots of centers
and rotations). Then, we are going to add 4th/5th and 5th/6th grade
classrooms probably with just one Mexican teacher in each.
Our plans are big, but our God is bigger. We are trying to open these
grades so quickly because our kids in those grades are currently in
the public school. In the classroom of fifty students to one teacher
they are getting left behind. Our desire is to catch them in the important
elementary grades so that they go on to become educated adults who impact
the world.
For example: one of our current second grade students was kicked out
of seventh grade because she could not read. We placed her in our second
grade where she is flourishing. She has learned to read, has grown in
confidence, and is now teaching her own mother how to read - a woman
who cannot even write her own name.
What we are doing is so huge! Each child is being changed. Their lives
will never be the same! Please fill this out the teacher application

copy, let me know you address and I will get it to you!
The commitment that you would need to make would be...
1. To come for a year (this is a
school year - you would be more than welcome to go home at scheduled
vacation times).
2. To raise support for your expenses for the year (This may seem
difficult - but I will be glad to give you ideas - currently four
of us working here have done this - we have seen God's hand of provision
in amazing ways)
